The celebration started with recitation of verses from the Holy Guran recited by Mr. Azmee Osman GM E&P. Mr. Othman S Karram Focal point of the GNPOC Excellence Award Programme Committee opened the celebration by welcoming Dr. Sun Xiansheng, Mr. Elzubair Ahmed Hassan Ex-Minster of Energy, Azhari Abdulla Director General, OEPA, Partners’ representatives, all winners, all guests and all GNPOC employees those who were there.

Dr. Sun GNPOC President in his speech welcomed all and mentioned that this is the 1st time for GNPOC in its history to celebrate to award outstanding employees for their excellence.

He welcomed and thanked Mr. Elzubair, EX-Minster and all others for attending the ceremony to witness the event .He congratulated all the 17 winners with his best wishes for all of them to maintain the high standard level of achievements.

In his speech Mr. Elzubair thanked GNPOC upper-management for the invitation and their initiative to honor the outstanding employees. He gave special appreciations to Magdi Mohamed Salim Ahmed, supervisor of HSE Department - PO Division for his leading role in demonstrating GNPOC’s Commitment towards protecting Environment, nearly 1000 tankers have been loaded at MT without any oil spill and that shows his commitment for Environment.

Mr. Elzubair, Mr. Azhari and Dr. Sun President were involved in handing over certificates & gifts to all winners of the both awards. The ceremony was documented by video. Many photos were taken to memorialize the event and also pictures were taken for every winner during receiving his recognition certificate & award.
